In this inquiry project, nine middle years teachers explored various strategies to improve the design process in their classrooms. Some of the teachers created a rubric that they thought represented the skills in design and then explored the implementation of the rubric using a similar design process lesson. Other teachers examined the results of co-creating rubrics with their students or assigning roles to their students. In this presentation, the teachers will discuss the common and individual findings regarding their investigations.
